You can transfer an existing domain to YouthOfAmerica.net at any time. YouthOfAmerica.net will even make the transfer "transparent". That is, if your domain is currently being hosted with another hosting service and you want to transfer the domain to our hosting services, we will set it up so that the domain transfers to our servers and no one will be able to tell. Your website will never be inaccessible while the domain is being transferred to our server.

How long does it take before my domain name is active?

If you are registering a new domain, your domain could be active anywhere from 24 hours to 5 business days - it all depends on the InterNIC and not YouthOfAmerica.net. We will have your account with your IP address setup within 24 hours of your order.

Files must be transferred to the web server via File Transport Protocol (FTP) . How long does it take to set up a new account ?
